Our swimwear collection is made with recycled materials, producing high-quality pieces entirely manufactured in Portugal.
Divided into two great blocks, the first portion of the collection is made with SEAQUAL® YARN, crafted with 10% SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC (marine plastic waste) and 90% post-consumer PET.
The other block is made using Q-Nova by Fulgar® yarn, a mechanically recycled environmentally responsible and sustainable polyamide fiber, produced exclusively from recycled raw materials, which meets precise traceability requirements.
Through these two woven fabrics, the collection contributes to the goal of having both a cleaner planet and oceans, in other words "The Swim Short the Ocean Wants You to Wear."
SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC
We began our journey with SEAQUAL INITIATIVE back in 2018, when we transitioned all our swimwear program from conventional polyester to a 100% SEAQUAL® YARN, which contains 10% SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC (from plastic marine litter) and 90% post-consumer PET.
Each Trendsplant swim short contains approximately 180 grams of plastic, equivalent to 11 bottles.
Q-Nova by Fulgar®
New swimwear line featuring Q-Nova by Fulgar®, a responsible, environmentally friendly, comfortable and soft fibre obtained from regenerated raw materials and which meets given traceability requirements.
