Trendsplant is a lifestyle brand established in 2009 in the Mediterranean city of Alicante, located on the southeastern coast of Spain.
Guided by ethics and sustainability, we develop the products that compose our range.
At the core of our ethos lies a commitment to creating products that leave a positive impact on both style and the planet. 95% of our catalog springs from Portugal and Spain's rich artistic traditions and craftsmanship.
We believe that beauty should never come at the cost of our environment. Hence, we diligently source and utilize eco-friendly materials that captivate the eye and honor our responsibility to Mother Earth. From recycled textiles that breathe new life into discarded fibers to ethically harvested woods that preserve our forests, each component of our products embodies our sustainable vision.
Acting as agents of change.
As members of the B Corp movement, we share knowledge and resources, develop transformative initiatives, and promote change in economic systems.
We believe in the power of businesses to drive a new, more responsible and sustainable economic model, and we advocate that no change is possible unless we change the way we produce and consume.
We take decisions that are both good for the planet as well for those that live here, putting these interests before our own.
Be human. Be planet. Be B.
The 1% for the Planet certification is awarded to companies that make an environmental commitment by donating 1% of their annual revenue. Our emphasis is on the "1% of their annual revenue" part, not on the profit part.
We fulfill this self-imposed tax in several ways: economic donations, product donations, and on-site work.
All donations are made with various purposes such as preserving and protecting wildlife habitats, cleaning our oceans, local impact and creating an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
Every action, no matter how small, contributes to improving our environment.
We primarily manufacture in Portugal and Spain, often just kilometers away from our headquarters, prioritizing proximity, transparency, and corporate responsibility toward both the facilities and our employees.
In textile production, it is estimated that the human factor represents approximately 35% of direct production costs (manufacturing), while the rest corresponds to raw materials (which also mostly come from Portugal) and logistics.
We remain steadfast in our commitment to ethical production, proud to contribute to improving working conditions.
You will have noticed the elephant featured in the logo.
This animal represents the values that are the basis of Trendsplant:
Humble, Strong and Resilient.
Trendsplant is not just about making good products. We take decisions that are both good for the planet as well for those that live here, putting these interests before our own.
At Trendsplant, transparency has been a core value guiding us through the years.
That’s why we use certified materials and follow processes that ensure precise traceability, always partnering with those who share our values.
As part of our commitment to transparency, we regularly publish our Report, an initiative we proudly share with you. It offers a summary of key moments, events, progress, and challenges we've encountered along the way.
Since our inception, we have aimed to generate a positive impact and ensure our garments remain in your wardrobe for a long time, creating products that minimize the impact on natural resources across the planet.
That's why we employ eco-friendly techniques to minimize water and energy usage, as well as reduce pollution. We also select eco-friendly materials and innovative upcycled fabrics, constantly researching and testing new options that meet our standards for durability and comfort.
By giving materials a second life, we not only reduce environmental impact but also ensure that every product contributes to a more sustainable future.
RePack is the first reusable, returnable, and refundable packaging service for e-commerce globally.
Made from post-waste recycled polypropylene (RPP), they’re easy to open, fill, fold, and return – again and again, built to last for years and handle dozens of trips all over the world.
Made from post-waste recycled polypropylene (RPP), they’re easy to open, fill, fold, and return – again and again, built to last for years and handle dozens of trips all over the world. While reusable packaging isn’t entirely carbon neutral, its circular system cuts packaging waste and reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to single-use packaging.
Together, we’re making a difference.
Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in every aspect of our production process, from the materials we select to how we manufacture our garments. One of our most significant achievements has been obtaining the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) certification.
The GRS, an internationally recognized certification, ensures that the materials used in our products come from responsible sources, with at least 50% recycled content. Additionally, it verifies that our manufacturing processes are both environmentally and socially responsible, covering everything from chemical use to ethical labor practices.
This certification not only guarantees our reduced environmental footprint but also demands complete traceability throughout our supply chain, ensuring transparency and our ongoing commitment.
The collaboration between Trendsplant and Recovo arises from the alignment of our values and objectives: promoting circularity, reducing textile waste, and minimizing environmental impact, all combined with ethical production and the highest possible transparency.
Using deadstock fabrics reduces 82% of the resources that we use compared to creating new materials from virgin materials.
Every material used in this collection has impact and traceability data for the Digital Passport. The environmental savings from reusing textiles instead of producing new ones are measured through Dcycle.
By buying fabrics from Recovo, we avoid emissions, reduce waste and pollution, conserve natural resources, and extend the lifespan of materials using technology.
At Trendsplant, we are committed to the responsible use of natural resources, minimizing our environmental impact at every stage of production. From design to manufacturing, our priority is to use sustainable materials that respect the planet.
We use organic cotton, recycled materials, and natural fibers such as linen and hemp, reducing water consumption and CO2 emissions. Additionally, we collaborate with innovative suppliers to develop new fibers and processes that enhance the quality of our garments, always focusing on durability and ethics. All our clothing is certified by organizations like B Corp, which validate our sustainable and responsible practices.
By using recycled materials, such as polyester and nylon, we prevent unnecessary waste, giving new life to discarded materials and contributing to the circular economy. At Trendsplant, dressing with style also means caring for the planet.
Organic Cotton is a cornerstone of our catalog.
Sourced from Portugal, this fabric reflects our commitment to the environment, people, and the final product. It’s grown without harmful chemicals, relying on insects to control pests and encouraging biodiversity.
Organic Cotton production emits around 46% less CO2e and requires far less water compared to conventional cotton.
We ensure environmentally and socially responsible manufacturing, which is reflected in our labeling, giving you confidence in the quality and integrity of every garment.
Each Trendsplant SEAQUAL® YARN swim short contains around approximately 180 grams of plastic, the equivalent of 11 bottles.
SEAQUAL® YARN is a recycled polyester yarn made from plastic marine litter (Upcycled Marine Plastic) and post-consumer PET from land sources.
SEAQUAL INITIATIVE is a unique collaborative community that works with ocean clean-up programs around the world to transform the marine litter they recover into SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC; a new, fully-traceable raw material with the power to raise awareness of the issue of marine pollution and highlight those helping to fight it. In choosing products containing SEAQUAL® MARINE PLASTIC, you are helping to clean our oceans.
TOGETHER FOR A CLEAN OCEAN.
Q-NOVA® is an innovative recycled material that we have added in 2024 to our catalog.
It is born with the fundamental principle that every material used can have a second life, preserving a low-energy consumption production system.
This innovative material, made from Recycled Polyamide, is produced using an MCS process—a mechanical regeneration system that eliminates the need for chemicals.
A BETTER WAY TO THE FUTURE.
At Trendsplant, we are committed to sustainability and the conservation of our planet, which is why we collaborate with Wild Tomorrow (WT) as part of our involvement with 1% For The Planet.
This organization works in southern Africa, protecting and expanding endangered natural habitats. Their mission is to halt biodiversity loss, restore ecosystems, and save species such as elephants, rhinos, lions, and giraffes that are threatened by poaching and habitat destruction.
Through donations, WTF acquires scientific tools, like tracking collars and blood samples, to monitor and protect vulnerable species. In addition, their dedicated field research team works tirelessly on the conservation of areas rich in biodiversity. With this collaboration, Trendsplant ensures that every purchase you make contributes to a more sustainable future, helping to stop the destruction of our planet.
To achieve the final color of our Trendsplant Denim, we use an Ozone generator that avoids highly polluting corrosive chemicals.
This technique significantly reduces environmental impact and results in a sustainable finish. Our fabric, made with at least 20% Recycled Denim, showcases respect, quality, and care in each piece, all of which are 100% manufactured in Spain by specialist textile craftsmen.
When we use the pigment dyeing technique, we choose chemicals that are less toxic and polluting.
The pigments adhere to the fabric with the help of binders, giving our garments a unique color, a soft touch, and a perfect fit. Over time, the color gradually fades, creating a vintage look similar to denim.
This aging process adds a touch of authenticity, making each garment uniquely yours.
This technology reduces water consumption by over 90% compared to conventional dyeing methods. The dye is applied through nebulization, a process certified by AITEX, making it more efficient and environmentally friendly.
We take pride in ensuring that respect, quality, and care are evident in each piece, all of which are 100% manufactured in Spain by specialist textile craftsmen.
Our Eco-Finish Dye pants are a testament to sustainable innovation.
