Pablo Bueno (Alicante, 1987) is a visual artist and muralist.

Although based on the Mediterranean coast, his work and curiosity have taken him to create in cities like Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Toronto and Tokyo.

Trained in Fine Arts at Miguel Hernández University, his journey has led him to study and live in diverse places such as Milan, Madrid and Yucatán.

This blend of cultures has shaped a unique language, direct, optimistic and rooted in street culture.

Pablo began doing graffiti at a very young age, influenced by the Alicante scene of the 90s. Over time, his style evolved into a more mature expression while staying deeply connected to public space.

Today, his work is known for its positive tone and the way it creates links between art, the city and its people.

In this reinterpretation of LIFE BY THE SEA, Pablo returns to his origin: the sea, the calm, and the line that separates water from land.

Life by the Sea reinterpretada

Life by the Sea
Reinterpreted

A T-shirt, a statement.
An annual reinterpretation, a dialogue between art, culture and territory.

Since the beginning, LIFE BY THE SEA has been more than a garment: it’s a statement of values.
It speaks of a Mediterranean lifestyle, a connection to the sea, of pause and belonging.
It’s the T-shirt that represents our way of understanding summer, our surroundings and our pace of life.

Starting summer 2025, Trendsplant transforms this symbol into a living cultural project:
every year, a different artist will be invited to reinterpret LIFE BY THE SEA through their own sensitivity, language and discipline.

What does it mean to reinterpret?
A creative question

It’s not just about redesigning a T-shirt, but about translating an emotional and territorial concept into a visual piece with meaning, nuance and soul.
The T-shirt becomes an accessible artistic medium, linking the everyday with the symbolic.

Why artists?
Because we want to explore the diversity of perspectives that the same sea can inspire.
We want to build bridges between fashion and art, between graphic creation and emotional experience.
And we want each reinterpretation to act as a testimony of its time: a snapshot of the present through the unique vision of a creator.

How are the artists selected?
Each year, a different profile will be chosen: illustrators, painters, photographers, sculptors, graphic designers, ceramicists, muralists…
Some emerging, others established.
Some local, others with international projection.
But all of them share a connection, direct or intuitive, with the philosophy of Trendsplant and LIFE BY THE SEA.
