How was our first B Good Day?

One of Trendsplant's landmarks has been the achievement of our B Corp rating.

It has taken months of work to adapt processes, equipment, suppliers and many parts of the company to the criteria set by this global movement.

As we have said on other occasions, to become a B Corp is to form part of a group of organizations performing actions intended to have a positive impact on the planet.

And being part of that movement also means coming into contact with those companies and organizations that like you, want a better planet in every way.

If one company can have a positive impact, imagine if you bring many of them together in a single space for several hours so they can interact.

That's what happened on B Good Day, which we attended a few weeks ago.

It was a giant meeting in Madrid where we met other B Corp companies and change agents from all over Spain.

A main talking point was the triple-impact initiatives (economic, social and environmental) followed to become a B Corp.

Another was the leadership model for the new economy, the transformation of the business paradigm and the collective power of communities.

The purpose of this sixth edition of B Good Day, held in Green Patio (Madrid), was to lay the foundations for a more inclusive and sustainable economy.

It was also a very special meeting, reactivating activity that had ceased for two years because of the COVID-19 pandemic.

It was attended by more than 220 organizations, 360 people and almost 100 top-level speakers.

Here are some lessons we learned from the meeting:

  • We need to co-create an economy that benefits all people and the planet. We need to match decisions with the type of society we want to build.

  • Voting is not something we do every four years; it is something we do with each decision we take every day (you have heard this from us many times). We truly want to become the change we want to see.

  • We need to generate the real tools and best practices to become companies with a positive impact.
