We’re also Knowcosters
If you follow us routinely, you will know that one of our main goals is to make our activity have a positive aspect on society.
We want that positive impact to grow and become larger as the years go by.
Over recent months we have been working very zealously on achieving that goal. For example, a significant part of the team has been dedicated to achieving all the necessary requirements to become a B-Corp. And we more than achieved it!
Another day we will discuss in more detail what that means. Today the subject is different.
We want to tell you something that pleases us a lot: we’re part of the KNOWCOSTER movement.

This movement is a consumer philosophy based on conscious consumption, on knowing not just the visible cost of the product, but also the unseen indirect costs we all pay: the costs to our welfare and the planet.
We advocate it because consumers get all the available information: they know what has happened before they buy a product and who has been involved.
We believe that more responsible consumption and more informed consumers have a positive impact on society.
As several members of the Trendsplant team like to say, to change society, changing the form of consumption is more effective than voting.
Or as they say at KNOWCOSTER: “We support the society we aspire to have through our consumption”. KNOWCOSTER consumers vote by directing their consumption.

Tax issues have a footprint
KNOWCOST know this, so its label displays the country where the companies obtaining its certification pay their VAT and corporate income taxes.
It’s normal to believe, especially when we buy through the Internet, that we make our purchase in the country where the transaction takes place. Often the reality is different.
The Tax Footprint is a label which displays the countries where companies pay their taxes. The Knowcosters Foundation assigns it free of charge, the only requirement being that the information must be true and must have been issued within the last six months.
Just like the taxes paid by citizens, the taxes paid by companies contribute to the economic and social development of the countries where they trade.
So knowing where our money goes is information we should have as consumers.
With the information provided by the Tax Footprint, consumers may freely and consciously decide what to do.
Transparency and commitment: those two values are always on our minds, and with this step they carry even more weight at Trendsplant.
Thanks if you have read this far. Not just from us, but from all of society. Your interest has a positive impact, even if unseen.

It's a company that, like us, was born in the city of Alicante, and that's the theme we used for the first collaboration between the two brands, the "Trendsplant V.1."It's a limited-edition burger that was available during the month of February and featured very local ingredients, such as the truly Alicante-style "salmorreta" (a base sauce used in rice dishes) and the mild garlic sauce (a light version of "aioli"). The intention was for each bite to transport you to the province. The burger was available in limited daily quantities, and the "sold out" sign was hung up day after day.We couldn’t be happier.Trendsplant x EquilibriumIn May, we launched our first collaboration with Equilibrium, an Alicante-based brand specialized in wellness and dedicated to sustainability and quality. THE CREATIVE PROCESSThe collaboration we've done with Barner is probably already familiar to followers of our Instagram feed. Furthermore, you have been able to see them through different influencers who have collaborated with this project. We've launched a line of products exclusively for both Trendsplant and Barner teams. Additionally, for a group of people spreading the message: together, we can improve our planet. Any company can make a positive impact on the planet by using its influence for good. The possibilities are endless if several companies work together. It would be clearer that decision-making should consider both the planet and the people who live on it when taking action. By using ethical local production methods, working with certified organic materials, and offering reusable packaging, we prioritize those interests. PLANET AND FASHION Fashion produces 10% of the planet's carbon emissions and consumes the second most amount of water. There is definitely room for improvement in the fashion industry: it needs to become more environmentally friendly and sustainable. In association with Barner, we have created this pack of products for our closest community. There is much more to our mission than spreading a message. We will plant five trees for every mention of this collaboration on social networks. Sustainability and social awareness are among Trendsplant's priorities. As a result, we always strive to protect the environment, join organizations that share these values, and create products that meet these needs. Our impact can be doubled by joining forces with like-minded companies like Barner and making a difference. IN BARNER WE TRUST Barner was founded in early 2017 by two friends. They identified a problem affecting millions of people all over the world: excessive exposure to blue light. The long hours they spent in front of screens every day were too much for their eyes. The pair decided to create their own glasses in order to protect their eyes, improve their quality of life, and keep their style intact. It was inevitable that we would work together one day. We have known each other for a long time, and we have known their product for a long time. Most of all because we've always been captivated by their motto: "we believe that all companies should be more than just businesses; they should also have souls." This translates into “[companies] not only focusing on doing the right thing for their consumers and developing great products, but keeping their values close, standing up for what they believe in, and giving something back to the community.”
