Laurel Reverse Loopback Pigment Dyed Sweater Foliage Green
Our "Laurel" sweater is part of a collection whose names are inspired by plants from our endangered Mediterranean coastline.
What’s special about this sweater is what we call "reverse fleece". We make the piece with the loops of the fleece facing outside and we have also added side rib panels to provide a more comfortable fit to the waist.
Our "Laurel" sweatshirt is pigment dyed, giving it a vintage and unique look.
Laurus nobilis, commonly called laurel or laurel, is a shrub or perennial tree belonging to the Lauraceae family. It is native to the Mediterranean region and is used as bay leaf for seasoning in cooking.

During this special dyieing process pigments stick on the fabric with the help of binders.
In this technique the chemicals are less toxic and least polluting and the color fades with the repeated use, like denim, that provides a fantastic vintage look.
